Thank you Maono for sending us a review sample!
We have reviewed many wonderful microphones from Maono and the WM620 is the second wireless model we have the pleasure of reviewing. We previously reviewed the Maono WM820 Wireless Microphone System here. Unlike the WM820, the Maono WM620 Wireless Microphone is way more compact and easier to carry around and use. My only nitpick is that the extra magnets included do not fit in the charging/carrying case.
There are six colors to choose from including black, blue, navy blue, pink, purple, and white. The charging/carrying case will arrive in the same color. The purple model is a light lavender color and works as a deterrent from my husband using them.
Strong Points: Compact design; easy to use; sounds great
Weak Points: Extra magnets included don’t fit in the charging/carrying case
Inside of the box, you’ll find a charging/carrying case that holds the two transmitters/microphones and the USB-C receiver. There are also two circular magnets and a USB-C charging cable which charges the microphones through the case.
The microphones have a clip but can be set in place with the included magnets if needed. They have four buttons for power, sound/singing mode, mute, and noise canceling. The receiver supports four levels of gain adjustment. The microphones have four indicator lights on them for battery, noise canceling/mute, singing mode, and transmitter connection status. If the battery light changes from white to red, that means that there is less than 5% of battery power remaining. The microphones also have a 3.5mm external microphone input and a USB-C port for charging or monitoring.
When plugging in the receiver, your computer will register it as a new sound device and will set it as your default sound and microphone device. Since I wanted to use my existing USB sound device, I had to change my default sound device before going live on my stream. You can plug in 3.5mm headphones if desired to the receiver which would give you a 3.5mm headphone back on your phone if you're lacking one.

The Maono WM620 Wireless Microphone has many use cases for game streams, music recording, podcast interviews, and business meetings/video conference calls. It sounded great for my recent stream of The Inquisitor and I look forward to utilizing both transmitters when streaming a party game with multiple people.
The asking price of $49.99 is reasonable and this wireless microphone system is worth picking up if you do streams with multiple people or conduct podcast or job interviews. If you steam by yourself or need a microphone for video conference calls, this is still a solid option as you’ll have a spare microphone to use while the other is charging. I haven’t had any technical issues with Maono microphones in the past, but it’s good to know that they stand behind their products with a two week return or exchange policy and a six months or more warranty. Product registration is encouraged and often extends the warranty coverage.
