Thank you Huanuo for providing us with a review sample!
I was perfectly happy using the monitor stands that came with my two monitors. My husband has asked me multiple times if I wanted monitor arms, and I declined as I didn’t see a need for them. I was used to their positioning and was fine with the status quo. The older of my two monitors is a 27” Acer K27UHUL. My Samsung monitor is on the left and my Acer is on the right. When I stream I have the game running on the Samsung and broadcasting software displaying on the Acer on the right.
Jason and I have an informal prenup that we are to have equivalent hardware. Upgrading computer hardware is an expensive endeavor. We recently bought two (one for each of us) 40” ultrawide Samsung Odyssey G7’s. As a result, Jason was in the market for a monitor arm, while I was happy using the built-in stand.
Strong Points: Excellent build quality; integrated USB hub is nice
Weak Points: More expensive than competing products
As luck would have it, we got a marketing e-mail from Huanuo and an opportunity to review their offerings. My desk was “volunteered” as a testing bed for their DS7 High-Performance Dual Monitor Arm. The 40” ultrawide is the maximum size that this dual monitor arm support, and it handles it with ease!
Installation isn’t too painful as the instructions are clear and the pieces are clearly marked and nicely organized. There are different installation options, and we used the clamping mechanism instead of drilling directly into the desk. If you have a thin desk, they recommend using a piece of wood to strengthen then grip of the monitor arm’s clamp.

The mounting kit includes multiple Allen wrenches/hex keys, but my husband opted to use drill bits instead to speed up installation. We had it installed in less than an hour, and I dedicated another thirty minutes for wire management. I like the built-in channels for running the display cables through. I took the liberty of re-organizing my desk and tidying it up substantially.
The results are very noticeable and apparently contagious. Since revamping my desk, my husband was inspired to better organize his with shelving, and my son used an older monitor arm and implemented it on his desk!

While Huanuo’s offerings aren’t the cheapest options out there, their quality is undeniable. The clamp system is well designed with solid metal pieces. The wiring channels are easy to use, and the integrated USB is quite handy. Installing this dual monitor arm, I have gained more desk space and have easier access to my XLR microphone for streaming. It was definitely worth the effort, and I can see and appreciate the benefits of using monitor arm stands. I look forward to checking out other offerings from Huanuo, including their standing desks, ergonomic chairs, and keyboard trays.
