Thank you 1MORE for sending us this set of earbuds to review!
$16.99. That is the price of a meal at fast food these days if you don't stick to the value menu. It's shocking how little you can get for $16.99 these days, thanks to inflation. And yet, here we are, with 1MORE's latest entry level set of wireless earbuds, the TWS Q10 for that shockingly low price of $16.99. And the best part? These are actually really comfortable and sound remarkably balanced as well. I could just end it here and say 'buy them', but I'll at least make your click worth your time.
The 1MORE TWS Q10s are only available in white, and fit inside an absolutely tiny, shiny, and white charging case. My measurements show the case (with the earbuds inside!) to be 2" tall, 1 and 3/4 inches wide, and about 3/4 inch thick. These things are seriously small, and they have a very smooth and reflective surface and all rounded edges, making them seem even smaller than how they measure. They are easy to pop into and out of your pocket. While I haven't lost them so far, I could see them popping out of your pocket unintentionally on a bus if you aren't careful, so be sure to put them under something else if you can. It's great that worst case they are not expensive to replace, though prevention is always better than losing something!
These are earbud style, and strongly resemble the shape and color of Apple's Airpods, with a white finish, the uniquely-shaped long nosed earbuds, and a long stem. While I'm not one for chasing trends, the shape is remarkably comfortable. They can fall out if you're not careful, though I find that they stay in place pretty well for me, and you can almost forget they are there. Comfort on any set of earbuds is king, and these are quite good in that area, even for me who has a hard time with in-ears sometimes because I get outer ear infections easily.
Strong Points: Incredible value; very comfortable; really tiny and fits in almost any pocket; low-latency mode works well; sounds better than I expected for the price; decent microphone; can hear your surroudings
Weak Points: I wish battery life was better; switching devices can be a little tricky; looks like Airpods if that bothers you; little noise isolation
I didn't go in expecting much for sound quality on a pair of cheap earbuds, and I came away impressed. 1MORE's audio tuning has always been excellent in my experience, and these Q10s absolutely exceeded my expectations. They perhaps aren't audiophile-quality, but they sound good enough to enjoy music in all of the genres I tested, and work great for podcasts. They have a good bass and treble balance, and everything I listened to was pleasant. I actually like how these sound better than some more expensive earbuds I've used.
They get loud but not too loud; don't expect them to drown out loud background noises, since these are not really isolating at all, but rather offer a more open-ear design. They do slide into your ears, so they are more isolating than something like the Open Earbuds S31 but a far cry from in-ear monitors (IEMs), much less ones with active noise canceling. But this is also a big part of what makes them so comfortable. Some people find IEMs comfortable, and they can be, but just resting in your ear cavity is certainly more comfortable, at least for me.

Like many earbuds these days, they are controlled via touch commands. Near the top of the stem there is a tiny hole, and if you touch there, you can be sure the earbud will register it. If you double tap, you can play or pause. If you triple tap on the left earbud, you navigate to the previous track, and if you triple tap the right, you get the next track. You can also answer a call with a double tap, and decline it by holding for two seconds. To enable low-latency mode, you press and hold the left earbud for two seconds, and it will say 'game mode' or 'normal mode'. Normal mode has an audio latency of around 500ms, but game mode is quite excellent, at under 100ms. You can certainly play a game with such low latency without much trouble.
Pairing the first time is easy; you just take out the earbuds and they immediately go into pairing mode. You can switch devices somewhat easily but just disconnecting it from what it is currently connected to. I saw in the documentation that there is supposed to be a way to set the earbuds into pairing mode on their own by quad-tapping, but I was not able to get this to work at all. So if it's connected to the wrong device, think back to what you last paired the Q10 with and disconnect it from there, and they should go back into pairing mode. Sadly you can't force a disconnect from another device, and there is no 1MORE app support for these earbuds.
The 1MORE TWS Q10 are certainly a rather basic earbud, but they are an incredible value for the extremely low price they are sold at. They work well enough in my testing, sound quite good, and have a decent battery life. I work from home, so my earbuds need to last around 10-12 hours, and these don't make it that far; they die in the early afternoon. Even still, I really like the Q10s, and if you have simple needs, you really can't go wrong with the 1MORE TWS Q10. Highly recommended for those on a budget!
