Many Christians are familiar with the Adventures in Odyssey radio series. If you are not familiar with it I strongly recommend checking it out. This game has some familiar characters. You will play as Whit, Eugene and Connie.

Story

The McCallister family painting was being restored and revealed a clue to a family treasure, The Sword of the Spirit. The restoration expert, Gustav Schmidt, was familiar with the McCallister legend and kidnapped Marty McCallister in hopes to find the sword. It\'s up to Eugene, Whit and Connie to save him.

Game Play

Each character will be looking for clues to find the sword. Once the location of the sword is found, each character must pass through a few tests of character set in place to test the McCallister children. The purpose of the tests of virtue are to see if they are worthy of the Sword of the Spirit. Some of the tests are pretty hard and many of them are repetitive. The vitures of patience and perseverance will be needed!

Graphics

The graphics in this game are cartoon like and very colorful. No high-powered 3D video card required.

Sound

The voice acting and background music was great, the same as you would hear on the radio show. Unfortunately some of the sound samples were a bit crackly.

Interface

The mouse and keyboard for movement drive this game. Some of the levels has some glitches and were a little tricky getting the characters in the right spot to trigger an event. Other than those few instances the game was pretty intuitive.

Appropriateness

This game teaches great morals and values. You will learn about many virtues such as patience, kindness, love, joy, faithfulness etc.

Final Thoughts

If you don't mind jumping puzzles you\'ll enjoy this game. There are many Character Test mini games to keep you busy. There are some extras on the CD like the \'No Way Out\' episode you can listen to. Overall, this is a fun game but I liked Treasures in the Incas better. You can get it at CovenantGames.com.
