{{/_source.additionalInfo}}Pisen 120 W GaN USB-C Fast Charger
Thank you Pisen for sending us a review sample!
Many devices rely on USB-A and USB-C connections for charging. The Pisen 120 W GaN USB-C Fast Charger has 2 USB A and 2 USB-C ports. Gallium nitride, or GaN, produces less heat and allows components to be closer together. Because of this technology, this charger is compact and safer to use. I have numerous items that I can think of that can be charged by this device. My Switch, Steam Deck, GPD WInMax2 portable laptop, phone, camera, toothbrush, controllers, and more! Not only can this charger remove clutter and free up power outlets, but it can charge most of these devices simultaneously.
I was able to charge my Switch, Steam Deck, phone, and portable laptop all at the same time! There are some limitations as the power dwindles as more devices are connected, but there's no reason why they couldn't be fully charged by the morning if you plug everything in at night. In fact, if I were to travel this would be the only charger I would need to bring.
One oddity worth mentioning is that even though my GPD Win Max 2 would be fully charged in the morning, the system would act like it's still charging. When using the native charger it would turn green and stop charging when full but the Pisen 120 W GaN USB C Fast Charger doesn't seem to get the message that the battery is full.
If charging one item here's how much power you'll get:
Top USB-A port: 10W
Bottom USB-A: 22.5W
Top USB-C: 100W
Bottom USB-C: 60W
If charging two items here's how much power you'll get:
Top USB-A port: 10W
Bottom USB-A: 22.5W (15W if using the top USB C)
Top USB-C: 60W (100W if using the top USB A)
Bottom USB-C: 60W
If charging three items here's how much power you'll get:
Top USB-A port: 10W
Bottom USB-A: 15W (22.W if not using the top USB C)
Top USB-C: 15W (30W if not using the bottom USB A)
Bottom USB-C: 60W
If charging four items here's how much power you'll get:
Top USB-A port: 10W
Bottom USB-A: 15W
Top USB-C: 15W
Bottom USB-C: 60W
Included with the charger is a braided USB-C to USB-C cable. This cable is rated for 100W and is high quality. I would love to get more cables just like that! Similar 100W braided cables seem to be roughly $6.50 on Amazon. The Pisen 120 W GaN USB-C Fast Charger sells for $69 and currently has a 30% coupon which would bring it under $50. If you have multiple USB devices and are in the market for a powerful fast charger, I highly recommend getting the Pisen 120 W GaN USB-C Fast Charger.
