I tried. I tried hard. I sent messages to the developers and nothing changed. I waited for updates, they never came. So now I’m left to judge a faulty game and give you the best review I can.
For starters, the game is too dark. Even with a brightness adjustment added, it’s too dark to see. If you happen to find the flashlight it makes no difference as it only works close to an object. I can’t talk about the graphics because you can’t really see them. From what I understand the problems are with the Xbox version. The PC version, as far as I know, doesn’t have issues or they patched them already.

Strong Points: Suffocating atmosphere; good ambient sound
Weak Points: Too dark; Buttons don’t work; hit detection doesn’t work
Moral Warnings: Satanic imagery; gore and violence; some bad language such as, da*n, sh*t and the F word
The ambient sounds make the game creepy. Wandering around in the dark hearing the muffled cries. If there is one cool thing about this game it’s the environment. Yes, it’s too dark but in a way that makes it even scarier. Wandering around in the dark until you come across a door that you can barely see, you just press the button that pops up. That gets old fast, but you have to deal with it.
Story wise, you wake up in a rundown hospital or mental institution and that’s all you know. Through notes and documents, you find out that some insane doctor is conducting experiments on people to save his wife from an illness. You spend the beginning of the game finding out what’s going on. This is key because you interact with the environment using the Y button. Sometimes, yes, it works but not all the time as it should.

I really wanted to like this game and to be fair, maybe in the future after some patches, I’ll go back into a revisit this review. How it stands now, I can’t recommend it. It has everything going for it, it just needs more time in the oven. What I was able to play, I liked. I see so much potential there but the whole zombies having sex thing is a huge turnoff, as mentioned in the Steam store page. I’m not a prude, but I have my limits.
The scriptures tell us not to waste time and I’m telling you not to waste time with this game. It fails in a technical aspect and therefore the game itself. At this point, do not waste your time on this game.
