Thank you Intragames for sending us this game to review!
Super Cane Magic ZERO is a fun action RPG where you explore the planetoid WOTF while smiting monsters, eating things, and collecting loot. You can also help rebuild the village of Poptarts by giving people kibbles (one of the currencies). They will build their shops again, and then you will be able to buy new items.
There are lots of places to visit, like the Random Forest and the Lava Bakery. All areas are different, and they contain new enemies, weapons, and hazards. In the Random Forest, you will be presented with walking plants that attack you with a shovel, feet-monsters, and more. In the Lava Bakery, you will be met by lots of fire-people and pastries with wheels that will spew fire at you.
There are lots of weapons, like a rolling pin or a water gun. All weapons have their differences. Some are melee, some are ranged. Others are magical. Every one of them does something good to you while you are holding it. Some will increase your health, while others will grant you protection to a certain element. Armor does the same thing, and so do shields.

Strong Points: Very entertaining; time consuming
Weak Points: Extremely difficult
Moral Warnings: Fantasy violence
The story of Super Cane Magic ZERO is that there was a wizard that died, and his magic dog, whose name is “AAAH!” is on the loose. You need to save a bunch of witches and wizards in order to save AAAH!.
The music sounds amazing, but also amazingly catchy. The sound effects are not accurate, but still go well with the theme of Super Cane Magic ZERO.
The controls are a little bit complicated, but easy to get used to. It uses both joysticks on your controller, and the main buttons are the triggers. It may seem a little awkward at first, but it won't be so bad after playing for a few minutes. When I would play this game for a while, and then switch to a different type of game, I would have to remind myself that the second joystick doesn't do anything.
The graphics are good, because they look hand-drawn. All of the characters look silly, and so do the enemies. They are designed to have a goofy and somewhat cute smile on their face.

It is not very stable. I didn't experience any bugs or glitches, but it crashed on me dozens of times. Loading takes way too long. Once you start the game, it takes about 30 seconds just to show who made and published it. Then you will have to sit through about 2 minutes of loading to take you to the screen where you pick your character. It is way too ridiculous.
As you can probably tell, it is very humorous. In loading screens, there will be a character saying funny things to entertain you during the ridiculously long loading times. There are lots of references to other games, like the fact that there is a Poke Ball bomb that spawns a helpful monster when thrown. There is also a Yoshi egg that does the same thing, and there are more references in the loading screens.
It is very family-friendly other than the fact that there are female characters that start in only underwear. It doesn't show anything bad, but that is still worth noting. There is tons of cartoon violence, and magic obviously is a large part of it. The magic isn't occult or anything like that, so it isn't too bad.
I really enjoyed playing Super Cane Magic ZERO, and would recommend it to lots of people. If you enjoy games with a hilarious storyline and lots of action, then this is definitely for you.
