Thank you Ratalaika Games for sending us the review code!
Rabisco+ is a cute puzzle-solving game that forces the you to use your head to time and maneuver through many different obstacles that might be in your way. This includes spikes, lasers, cannons, etc. Now, don’t get the wrong idea; this is one of the most family-friendly games I’ve played, as everything is very colorful and has calming art and music, making it hard to get mad at.
Rabisco+ does actually have a story to it, so you aren’t roaming around pointlessly. Basically what happened is that everything was happy and bright, even during the nights. But one day, the stars fell from the sky and the moon was alone and dark. This saddens you, so you have to now collect the stars and return them to the sky where they belong.

Strong Points: Short and sweet; relaxing atmosphere
Weak Points: Can be tedious sometimes; lag and crashes
Moral Warnings: Mild cartoon violence
There are a total of 100 levels and each one of them has one or more stars that you need to collect in order to completely beat the game. As expected, each level gets progressively more difficult as you play. This is achieved by introducing a new mechanic every few levels. The first few levels act as a tutorial, but then it starts putting spikes into the levels. These instantly kill you when touched, and reset you to the last checkpoint. Eventually, you will have to deal with moving spikes, lasers, cannons, ghosts, and more.
I’ve told you about the obstacles, so now I’ll tell you about the gimmicks. These appear near the second half of the game, and make things a lot more interesting. You will encounter light switches, peanut butter, breakable walls, as well as some other ones. The light switches will temporarily show what’s hiding behind a dark square. Dark squares can be passed through, but things can be hidden inside them. This means that you have to use the light switch, memorize what you need to do to get past, and then go. Peanut butter slows you down when you step on it, making normally easy patterns of spikes more difficult to get through. Breakable walls are exactly what they sound like; you have to dash into them to get past.
You do have a dash, but it is very short. Once it gets depleted, you either have to wait for it to regenerate, or you need to find a special item that instantly replenishes your stamina. These items make for some interesting level concepts, as you might need to be constantly running, and in order to maintain it you must grab all of the stamina refills.

As you play through the levels, you will find that there also gems that are solely for show, but are still fun to try and get. There are also some paint buckets scattered about, which allow you to change the color of the slime that you play as.
Most of the game is fairly stable, except towards the end, when it introduces conveyor belts it placed way too many of them, and it lagged significantly. And when I say significantly, I mean that the game speed was pretty much halved.
As I stated earlier, Rabisco+ is very family-friendly. There is no bad or crude language in the tutorial boxes, nor shown in any of the obstacles. There is a little bit of violence, as the aim is to not die, but if you do, there is just a splash of whatever color you decided to make your character.
I really enjoyed this game, and if you would like a quick game to play, this one took me about 3 hours to complete. I liked the art style, as it is simple and cute, and it looks like it was drawn using crayons. I think it is safe to let anybody play, even though it can be difficult sometimes.
