Thank you FITVII  for providing us with a review sample!

There are many options available when it comes to smart watches. I have personally used smart watches ranging from $10-150. I don't recommend buying cheap Temu smart watches as the one I bought there only lasted a week! I have found that $30-$50 smart watches on Amazon are pretty reliable and are a good bang for the buck. The FITVII HM57 sells on Amazon for $49.99 and currently has a $5 coupon bringing the cost down to $45.

Like many smart watches in the $30-$50 price range, the FITVII HM57 has many of the same features including heart rate and blood pressure monitoring, sleep tracking, blood oxygen monitor, and 120+ sport modes activity tracking. For those with medical conditions that require monitoring I would rather rely on medical devices designed for blood sugar/pressure measurement over inexpensive smart watches! I consider the readings from smart watches as "ballpark". The IP67 water resistant rating means that the device is protected against temporary immersion in water up to a depth of 1 meter for a duration of 30 minutes.

Upon receiving the watch it's a good idea to charge it fully before pairing it with your phone and setting up the FitCloudPro app. The manual has a QR code to make downloading the app easy. You'll have to create an account using your e-mail address in order to use the app. The FITVII HM57 will grab the time, location, and date from your phone. Using your height and weight information, the watch and app will track your steps taken, sports activities, and calories burned. You can configure the app to display app notifications and prompt you to drink water or move around if you've been sitting around too long.

I set my step goal to 10,000, but it can be set to any number. Females may find the menstrual cycle tracking helpful. I appreciate the ability to set the time to a 12-hour format and the temperature to Fahrenheit.

While I didn't see an option to customize the watch face using one of my own photos, there are over one hundred and fifty to choose from in the Dial Library. Some are simple and show just the time while others will display the weather, heart rate, steps taken, and battery levels all in one place. There are holiday themed ones if you're feeling festive.

The battery life is decent and lasts nearly a week if you wear it all day. I usually don't wear it at night. The Bluetooth range is pretty good as I am able to control my phone from several rooms away. The watch's Bluetooth connection may break after a couple of days, but if you resync it with the phone app, the data will transfer over as it reconnects.

Overall, I'm happy with the FITVII HM57 and recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable smart watch. It's available in thirteen different colors on FITVII's website, but Amazon only offers it in four options (black, gold, peach pink, and silver).
