Pinball FX - Goat Simulator Pinball begins with a farmer welcoming his goat, Pilgor, to his property in hopes of getting filthy rich. The farmer is aware of Pilgor’s previous antics and hopes to monetize them. Pilgor’s journey begins by shooting a ball into the goat tower prominently displayed in the middle of the pinball table. This tower will issue events, extra balls, and awards.

As you complete main and side events, you’ll earn karma which is used for triggering more events and increasing the jackpot during them.

Here’s a list of the available side events:

Drop Targets – Pilgor must headbutt the residents of San Angora
Spell TRICK – Once spelled out Pilgor will do a special trick
Spell GRIND – After completing this word Pilgor will start to grind at warp speed
Grow a Beanstalk – By shooting the goat tower’s spiral staircase a beanstalk will start to grow
Spinner – Perform several rotations to increase the Ballerina Effect or Win Score
Emote – Pilgor is so expressive she can do emotes
Farmer orbit – Collect the random item that the farmer throws onto the table, sometimes the objects are flammable and will engulf your pinball in flames
Hijack – Shoot the right orb to take the tractor out for a joyride!

The farmer is on the upper right hand side of the pinball table and Pilgor the goat is on the lower left. At the beginning of each main event you can dress Pilgor up with gear that can make events easier to complete or increase your score during the process. I love how the pinball changes to different balls (bowling ball, baseball, basketball, volleyball, tennis ball, and a beach ball) during each launch from the bright blue daredevil cannon.

In total there are six main events that must be completed before you can trigger the Boss Fight Wizard Mode. You can run all of the events simultaneously as long as you have the karma to do so. Throughout the game you can spell out BAA and GOAT for additional multipliers, karma, extra balls, and the ability to kickback or save balls.

Like other Pinball FX tables, you can play three different game modes. The Classic Mode gives you three balls and the ability to save your progress if needed. For an added challenge you can limit yourself to one ball, 200 flips, distance, or three hundred seconds. Arcade has all of the same options as Classic but with power-ups like score boost, slow motion, ball save, and bumper bonus. Hotseat is the local multiplayer mode that lets you swap turns between a maximum of four players. Whoever ends with the highest score wins.

Pinball FX - Goat Simulator Pinball runs well on the Steam Deck. However, saving your name in the leaderboard is a little clunky with the onscreen keyboard. Since the onscreen keyboard covers the entire screen, minimize it to double check your spelling before pressing enter when submitting your name to the leaderboard!

Morally there’s little to complain about. The goats are silly and sassy, but that’s to be expected in Goat Simulator games. There are opportunities for violence including dealing with alien invasions and starting a nuclear apocalypse.

Pinball FX - Goat Simulator Pinball is a fun table to play. I have little to complain about other than my ball getting stuck once. Virtually smacking the table seemed to free it up but if you hit the table too much your game will be forfeit.

If you enjoy the Goat Simulator series and Pinball, this table is a no brainer. I recommend it to all pinball fans with a silly sense of humor.
