Clean Up Earth, the first cleaning game, unveils a new co-op trailer!
A multiplayer experience built around cooperation and collective action, launching April 2 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series
Paris, France – March 12, 2026 – Magic Pockets, an independent French video game studio that has collaborated on renowned franchises such as Baldur’s Gate, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Harry Potter, The Sims, and The House of the Dead, unveiled a brand-new trailer for Clean Up Earth during the Future Games Show, entirely dedicated to its large-scale cooperative experience. This new trailer highlights the game’s core ambition: bringing players together to restore environments devastated by pollution, while generating a real-world environmental impact. Clean Up Earth will be available on April 2, 2026, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The Nintendo Switch 2 version will be announced at a later date.
“We designed Clean Up Earth so that players’ engagement goes beyond the screen. Every clean-up action contributes to a concrete micro-donation initiative funded by the studio, at no additional cost to the community” said Eric Zmiro, founder of Magic Pockets.
Playing together to act at scale
Clean Up Earth can be played in solo, coop with friends (up to 8 players), or across large maps bringing together 25 players or more, depending on the selected mode. Solo mode allows players to explore and progress freely, while co-op and multiplayer sessions focus on collective progression. At launch, the game will feature 23 maps, including 3 large-scale multiplayer maps.
On multiplayer maps, some actions require players to work together, particularly when dealing with large debris or taking part in reconstruction phases. Players use their Terra Cleaners - an evolving tool capable of vacuuming, processing, and recycling debris - along with unlocked equipment to coordinate their efforts and complement one another. Playing together allows teams to optimize their interventions and restore shared areas more efficiently.
As players collect waste, hidden elements may appear, such as artifacts, relics, and traces of former installations, adding an exploration layer to each map. These environments can also be explored at night, offering a different atmosphere and encouraging players to revisit locations to extend the experience. Clean Up Earth does not feature an in-game chat system, in order to maintain a safe and accessible environment for players of all ages.
A game with real-world impact
Clean Up Earth’s uniqueness goes beyond its gameplay. Actions performed in-game trigger automatic micro-donations funded by the studio and its partners, with no financial contribution required from players. Each session therefore helps support environmental organizations. This system has already been tested during initiatives conducted with Jingle Jam in support of the World Wide Fund for Nature, as well as during Steam Next Fest with a donation to the organization Wings of the Ocean, with micro-donations successfully triggered in both cases.
Clean Up Earth is more than just a cozy cleaning game. It’s a gentle reminder that every small action counts, and that collaboration can create real change.
Game features:
Escape, unwind, and make a difference : In Clean Up Earth, experience the instant satisfaction of vacuuming away waste and uncovering the beauty beneath. Watch polluted landscapes come back to life as each piece of debris you remove helps nature breathe again: plants grow back, wildlife returns.
Relaxing and Rewarding : Explore breathtaking environments inspired by real-world locations - from sunlit beaches to misty mountains and arid deserts. Immerse yourself in soothing atmospheres where the sounds of nature and your actions create a calming flow. Feel deep satisfaction as every piece of waste removed reveals more of the world’s hidden beauty.
The Terra Cleaner : Your modular cleaning tool is simple yet powerful: vacuum garbage, uncover buried litter, clean toxic debris and recycle waste in Recyc’lab display for restoring broken structures. As you progress, upgrades unlock new possibilities, letting you tackle bigger challenges and access new areas. Designed to feel intuitive and gratifying, every use of the Terra Cleaner brings visible transformation.
Solo, Co-op, Community — at your own pace: Start alone, invite close friends (co-op for up to 8 players depending on the map size), or join larger shared clean-up zones (up to 25 players or more). With more than 23 maps available at launch, including three large-scale multiplayer maps, Clean Up Earth offers at least 30 hours of gameplay, with many opportunities to revisit cleaned areas. Environments can also be explored at night, offering a different atmosphere and further enhancing replayability.
World lore and discoveries : Beneath the waste lie ancient artifacts and forgotten echoes of past civilizations. As you clean each area, these relics and playful quantum memories are revealed. From Area 51 to the Bermuda Triangle, and beyond, each map hides secrets waiting to be uncovered.
Real-world environmental impact: An integrated ecological fund, tested during Jingle Jam 2025 and Steam Next Fest 2026, allows Clean Up Earth to support genuine environmental initiatives in collaboration with trusted projects such as World Cleanup Day and partners including Plastic Pickup, Recyclop, Expedition MED, Wings of the Ocean, and more. From launch, Clean Up Earth will give players the opportunity to contribute to real-world clean-up efforts through automatic micro-donations to selected NGOs—all simply by playing, with no additional cost.
Clean Up Earth will be available on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series on April 2, 2026. A Nintendo Switch 2 version will be announced at a later date.
