Paris, France – February 19, 2026 – New Tales and Artefacts Studio are pleased to announce that Terrinoth®: Heroes of Descent, the first video game adaptation of the acclaimed Descent universe, will be featured in the upcoming Steam Next Fest.

Players are invited to step into the world of Terrinoth and experience the playable demo available now on Steam during the festival.

Bringing the legendary fantasy setting from Fantasy Flight Games and published by asmodee into video games for the first time, Terrinoth®: Heroes of Descent blends real-time exploration with deep, turn-based tactical combat. Designed for both long-time tabletop fans and tactical RPG newcomers, the game can be played solo or in cooperative multiplayer.

What to expect in the demo:

A first look at the troubled lands of Terrinoth

Strategic turn-based battles where positioning and synergy are key

A glimpse of the original storyline set one year before Descent: Legends of the Dark

Playable solo (the game will be playable in co-op at launch)

Launching in Spring 2026 on PC, Mac, PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S, the game invites players to form a party of heroes and confront the encroaching darkness threatening the realm.
