THE STORY OF STYX: BLADES OF GREED REVEALED IN A BRAND-NEW TRAILER
The infamous goblin returns as a great war looms and tensions rise ahead of the game’s February 19 launch
Lesquin, France (4 February 2026) – As the launch date for Styx: Blades of Greed draws nearer, NACON and Cyanide Studio are pleased to unveil a new narrative trailer offering a first look at the story of the infamous goblin. Styx: Blades of Greed launches on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store) on February 19, 2026.
Styx: Blades of Greed picks up shortly after the events of the second game. Having destroyed the Amber factory of High Priestess Lyssril, Styx leaves Korrangar, the city of the Dark Elves, and takes to the skies aboard a zeppelin with a makeshift crew. His new objective is Quartz, a powerful and highly unstable resource emerging as tensions rise between humans, elves, and orcs.
Relentlessly pursued by the Inquisition, a ruthless human faction determined to eradicate other races, Styx must secure the Quartz before it falls into their hands, no matter the cost.
The adventure takes players across the continent of Iserian, through vast environments rooted in a richly detailed medieval fantasy world. Locations include the floating ruins of Akenash, once the heart of the World Tree and now overrun by goblins and elves corrupted by amber, and The Wall, the immense fortress of the Human Empire, guarded by elite soldiers and inquisitors. On the far edge of the continent lies the Turquoise Dawn, a dense jungle ravaged by the war between humans and orcs, where hostile flora and exotic creatures turn every step into a potential death trap.
Along the way, Styx is joined by a band of outcasts, including Helledryn, Djarak, and Wren. Completing their quests rewards players with upgrades that enhance Styx’s abilities, tools, and stealth skills, opening up new infiltration options and allowing for a wide range of playstyles.
This new chapter lays the groundwork for the Great War and marks the rise of the Black Hand, the mercenary group whose actions later take center stage in Of Orcs and Men, the first game set in this universe.
Styx: Blades of Greed is a stealth and action-adventure game developed by French studio Cyanide® and the third entry in the Styx series, which has captivated more than two million players worldwide. Building on the foundations of its predecessors, the game places player freedom and creative problem-solving at the core of the experience.
Players step into the role of Styx, a sharp-witted goblin and master of stealth, as he hunts for Quartz, the most coveted and dangerous resource in a world on the brink of war. Vast vertical environments can be freely explored using new tools such as a grappling hook and glider, alongside expanded powers. To succeed, players must outmaneuver the traps of the Inquisition and steal the Quartz from the shadows. Whether meeting Styx for the first time or returning to a familiar anti-hero, greed has never been more tempting.
Styx: Blades of Greed will be available on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), and nacongaming.com on February 19, 2026.
