Calabasas, December 23, 2025 – Publisher 505 Games and developer ArtPlay, Inc. are pleased to announce the FREE giveaway of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, as part of the Epic Games Store Holiday promotion.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, the critically acclaimed side-scroller action RPG by Koji Igarashi, will be included in the promotion for exactly 24 hours and on the Epic Games Store only. After the 24-hour free period, the game reverts to its full price.

Game overview

In this Metroidvania action RPG, play as Miriam, an orphan scarred by an alchemist’s curse which slowly crystallizes her body. In order to save herself, and all of humanity, she must battle her way through a demon-infested castle summoned by Gebel, her old friend whose body and mind has become more crystal than flesh.

As of June 5, 2025, Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement, a highly anticipated early chapter of the critically acclaimed Bloodstained franchise, was also announced for 2026 – plunging players into strategic battles, crafting, and exploration across a sprawling, cursed land where they dive deeper into the Bloodstained World.
