Deadly Days: Roadtrip Hits Early Access on September 22, 2025

gamescom Collaboration with Knabe Kola Extended + New Trailer Showcases Survivors

Berlin, Germany – August 27, 2025 – Sidekick Publishing and developer Pixelsplit are excited to announce that Deadly Days: Roadtrip, the combination of chaotic zombie survival roguelike and inventory management, will launch in Early Access on September 22, 2025. Keys for early access ahead of release as part of the current closed beta testing and developer interviews are available on request.

The news follows a successful showing at gamescom 2025, where Deadly Days: Roadtrip was playable on PC as part of the Pro Arena and featured in live stage presentations.

At the event, fans also got the first taste of a special collaboration with Knabe Kola, the newly launched soft drink brand from HandOfBlood’s universe in collaboration with INSTINCT3.

Visitors joined a treasure hunt to unlock Präsident Knabe, a famous alter ego from HandOfBlood, alongside his exclusive item: a can of Knabe Kola.

In response to overwhelming demand, Pixelsplit and Sidekick Publishing are making the collaboration available to all players worldwide. Starting on Early Access launch day, fans can redeem Präsident Knabe and his fizzy-powered Knabe Kola item in-game using a special code released to celebrate the occasion.

Adding to the excitement, a brand-new trailer debuted at Gamestar's FIND YOUR NEXT GAME (FYNG) Show at gamescom, showcasing several of the quirky survivors players can recruit on their post-apocalyptic roadtrip.
