Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon Kicks Off Steam Free Weekend With Online VS Mode

July 10th, 2025 (Los Angeles, Calif) - Yacht Club Games is thrilled to announce a very special Steam Free Weekend for their puzzle-action roguelite, Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon. From July 10th to July 14th, players will be able to delve into the full game including all of the released DLC completely for free!

An Open Online Beta & DLC Early Preview: During the event, Yacht Club Games is releasing the Pals Pack DLC publicly on Steam, and hosting an open public Beta of Online Versus! The Pals Pack is chockfull of other content like new challenges for you and your best buds to tackle, hats, items, endless mode updates, secret new playable characters, and quality of life updates! The retail-ready version of the Pals Pack will launch on PC and console later this year.

Please note: The Pals Pack DLC and its Online VS Mode are still in active development. Pals Pack’s early preview is intended to give players a sneak peek of what is to come and help us fine-tune the experience ahead of the full release.
