Triple the Fun: Assemble Entertainment Brings Puzzles, Panic, and Paddleboats to Steam Next Fest

From heartfelt co-op journeys to survival horror and physics chaos—Forgotten Fragments, Flesh Made Fear, and Paddle Paddle Paddle showcase wildly different (and wildly fun) demos this June.

Wiesbaden, Germany, June 9, 2025 – This Steam Next Fest, indie publisher Assemble Entertainment is delivering something for every kind of gamer. Whether you're solving emotional puzzles, surviving PSX-era nightmares, or cursing gravity with a paddleboat, Assemble's three wildly distinct titles - Forgotten Fragments, Flesh Made Fear, and Paddle Paddle Paddle - are all launching free playable demos during the festival.

🧩 Forgotten Fragments – Memory, Magic, and Meaningful Puzzles

Newly revealed and newly signed by Assemble Entertainment, Forgotten Fragments is a beautiful and emotional 2D puzzle-platformer developed by indie studio Binary Phoenix. Blending nostalgic pixel-art visuals with clever, magical mechanics, the game offers both single-player and full co-op campaigns across 120+ handcrafted levels.

In Forgotten Fragments, players take control of three mysterious characters—Enid, Ryder, and Dayen—as they traverse a fragmented world of lost memories and forgotten places. Using glowing blue energy spheres to manipulate the environment, light torches, and uncover secrets, players must rely on timing, logic, and collaboration to solve intricate environmental puzzles.

“Forgotten Fragments is about the rediscovery of both the world and oneself,” said Marc Pons, 2D Artist and Art Director at Binary Phoenix. “We wanted a game that’s as emotionally resonant as it is mechanically satisfying.”

🧠 Key Features:

Full Single-Player and Co-op Campaigns, each with unique level design and story arcs

Innovative Puzzle Mechanics using magical energy spheres

Epic Boss Battles and environmental hazards

Stunning Pixel Art and Detailed Animation

Hidden Skins, Collectables, and Secret Levels for completionists
