Version 1.1.0 of the fairy-tale roguelike deck builder contains both new content and technical improvements
April 30, 2025 - The story of Deathless. The Hero Quest comes to a thrilling conclusion with its final content update, released today, and under a more encompassing name. This major content update improves upon gameplay and UX, expands mechanics, and visually overhauls the deck-building adventure, including an added cinematic opening that makes the game into the definitive version developers initially envisioned. Previous players can take new enemy types and other new features, while new players can take advantage of the 25% discount for the full experience, or try the demo. Deathless. The Hero Quest is currently on Steam as well as Epic Game Store as of today.

Visual overhaul for Koschei’s Boss Phases: each of Koschei’s transformation stages now features unique visuals, emphasizing his evolution and heightening the drama of the final battles.
Turhaud, a formidable new enemy type, joins the fray. An elite warrior of the steppe serpentlings and a guardian of Chudo Yudo. This ranged combatant boasts high efficiency and a unique interaction mechanic.

Once Upon a Time…
Inspired by eastern European folklore, radiating ethereal aesthetics, and stacked with familiar yet creative roguelike deck-building mechanics, this conclusive update refines the gameplay and upgrades the user experience to the vision developers had been dreaming of since the beginning. Formerly known as Deathless. Tales of Old Rus, this unique interpretation of Slavik folklore is set in the original fantasy world of Belosvet by writer and artist Roman Papsuev, musically accompanied by renown composer Dmitri Silantyev (select Pathfinder, Warhammer games).
