Fingersoft introduces the official web version of Hill Climb Racing, available exclusively on Poki
The classic mobile smash hit is in soft launch at Poki.com
One of the definitive hits of the early App Store can now be enjoyed by anyone with an internet connection. Poki and Fingersoft are thrilled to announce Hill Climb Racing Lite, a new version of the classic mobile game, now available in early access on the web’s largest gaming platform.
"At our core, we are a company that is passionate about our games and our players. With more than 2.5 billion installs around the globe, we've built something truly special, and we are committed to expanding that experience even further. We have listened to feedback from our player community and have set out to make our brand more accessible to everyone, regardless of gaming preferences or platform.
Our dream is to bring the original Hill Climb Racing experience that our players love to as many people, in as many ways, and in as many places as possible. It is an exciting notion to expand our flagship game and the IP we love to such a respected platform as Poki.com," says Daniel Rantala, Fingersoft’s Chief Growth Officer.
Hill Climb Racing Lite brings the same unpredictable physics-based gameplay that has been captivating gamers since 2012 to the web with a new HTML 5 version built for performance, speed and accessibility, including new features like portrait mode.
"At Poki we have always been inspired by the creativity and inventiveness of the early App Store, and that’s why we’re thrilled to bring this beloved brand to millions of new players across the globe. The funky car physics, compelling gameplay, and impressive depth make this the perfect fit for our digital playground.
Poki was founded to bring hit games from beloved developers to as wide an audience as possible, with no downloads or purchases, directly through a browser on any device anywhere in the world. The Fingersoft team did an amazing job reinventing their classic game for our platform, making it more lightweight and accessible than ever,” says Joep van Duinen, Head of Developer Relations at Poki.
Hill Climb Racing Lite is now available for early access at https://poki.com/en/g/hill-climb-racing-lite.
Daniel Rantala from Fingersoft will attend the upcoming Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco and is available for interviews. Additionally, Poki will be showcasing at booth S1043—welcome to experience the game firsthand!
