What is Castle of Blackwater?
Castle of Blackwater is a 2D, action-packed, social deduction game that is being developed by a small and passionate studio from The Netherlands. Our game strives to uniquely blend a thrilling atmosphere of murder mystery, with unexpected twists and turns at every level. Experience 10 different characters with varying abilities and playstyles, as well as fun-packed minigames and innovative features.

What can I expect from the demo?
In our demo, players will be able to experience the full interactive tutorial that will teach the core mechanics of the game, as well as touch upon some strategic possibilities. Furthermore, demo players will be able to try out playing the real online game with other players during scheduled events that can be found in our Discord. Please find the demo on Steam here.

What is the release timeline of Castle of Blackwater?
Our game is set to release in Early Access on March 25th of this year, just one month after Next Fest. The demo should therefore also be a good representation of what the public release build will be like. The major things that will be worked on in the next month will be the cosmetics shop and general polishing.
