War Mechanic Teases Its Alt-History World in New Trailer
The attack on Los Alamos changed everything...
The team at Chronospace is pleased to unveil today a new teaser trailer for their upcoming military base simulation game War Mechanic. Just debuted during GameStar's Find Your Next Game 2025 Showcase, the video sets the tone for a richly detailed world and offers a glimpse of War Mechanic’s innovative blend of base-building, vehicle customization, and resource management.
Step into the boots of Jake Wallace, a genius mechanic navigating the war-torn island of Noordhook in a high-stakes conflict between the United States and the Soviet Union. Jake arrives on the island as one of many participants in the War Mechanic program. He is tasked with managing and rebuilding a base called Landing Base Sally with the help of a robot named Gizmo and fulfilling contracts from the military to expand and defend the capitalist stronghold.
The Chronospace team also released a first teaser in October, showing us the first glimpse into General Patton's presidential campaign and the events that set the program to win a new kind of war.
There is a lot more War Mechanic to show in the new year. In the meantime, more info can be found on the game's Steam page.
