Let me give a little background on the door:
Our front door's doorknob's wall or something, the one where the doorknob locks into the door frame, I don't know what it is called. (I'm filipino, btw. ), is only made out of cement. Last time we had a terrible argument with my aunt like, some year ago. and I got so mad, I slammed the door with all of my strength, and I broke some parts of the doorframe. So, there, the door wasn't able to lock itself. but many years later we fixed it and a friend of ours placed cement all over the damaged locking slot of the doorknob(I still don't know what it is called. -.-"), and it got broken again eventually because the cement wasn't very strong.
So the real story begins here.
Our door had two locks. The main knob and the other one where you can only lock it and have to use the key to open the door from the outside. The 2nd lock that I mentioned is very hard to turn, so everytime I try to unlock it, it stops at the middle of the turn, therefore we might get locked inside whenever we try to use it. We only rent the house, so we didn't have the guts to fixed it before, until NOW. I opened the locker, and I saw the problem inside. HOWEVER, again we only rent the house, so we are only required to take care of the house, so that our Security Deposit won't be bothered. I couldn't even budge it or remove it carefully, because it's in it's exact place.
I had no other choice but to give up that time, because I couldn't even use force in removing the lock without a scratch.
So I prayed. Even though I said it jokingly or used it as an expression.
I said to myself "Pano na to Lord?". It's a tagalog sentence for "What should I do now, Lord?".
That time, I thought, He didn't answer me or anything. So I returned it back and hoped for the best.
So yeah, I returned it back and tested the lock again. I even broke sometihing inside the lock, but I think it won't make much difference than before. HOWEVER, (I like capitalizing the word, however, because it's like a suspense to my story. lol) I WAS ABLE TO TURN IT BACK WITHOUT HAVING TO STOP AT THE MIDDLE OF THE TURN!
I got really amazed. It was unbelievable. It took me a couple of minutes and turns for me to realize that it fixed by itself. I was like: "WOW! I can't believe it fixed!"
It's really amazing! Many people say that God wants to be a part of our lives, even the little things in our lives, like turning off the switch from the living room, going to the bathroom, having a piece of candy, you name one little thing that you do! He wants to be a part of your little and big life!
So that was it! He listened to my prayer, because HE knows that you need it. And He needs us more.
If God can fix doorknobs by himself, even though you have no hope in fixing it, what more can He fix in your life? Right? It was a definitely a great moment. God is soooooo amazing, To God be the Glory!
