Shot Himself in the head, only 4 years old

I go to a church that has 7 campuses, it's called Oak Hills Church. 1 is in Brazil, 1 is in Fredreksburg, Texas, 1 is called Journey Fellowship (I'm not sure where it is) and 4 in different parts of San Antonio, Texas (North Central, Outer West, Westide, and Crownridge). I go to Outer West
There is a little boy named Bejamen that goes to my campus, and he's 4 years old. Before he was born, the docters told his mom that neither of them were going to live. But both are alive 4 years later.
About a month ago, Bejamen was staying with his dad (his parents are divorced) and his dad put him in bed for his nap, and took a nap himself. However, while his dad was taking a nap, Bejamen went to the kitchen and found a gun hidden in a cabinet. He didn't know what to do with it, so he pulled the trigger and shot a bullet through his left eye, and blew 15% of his brain off. His dad heard the gunshot and ran downstairs. Benjamen was unconscious on the floor in a pool of blood. His dad rushed him to the hospital.
Benjamen is currently doing much better and can scoot aroung on the floor. He is going through Physical Therapy right now.
His mom is struggling because Benjamen's dad has nothing to do with them (I think he has too much guilt with what happened) so she has hardly any money to pay for his Therapy. His 1st (of many) surguries is in August.
Benjamen's mom also has a failing kidney and has to go to Dyalisis 3 times a week. She has been on a list to get a new kidney for about 4 years.
Two days ago was Benjamen's birthday and he turned 4, so his mom took him to Main Event (it's an arcade/bowling alley/laser tag/parkour place) and had a minion-themed party.

Update:

Ben had Surgury on Wednesday of last week, they repaired his temple, reconstructed his eye socket (where the bullet entered) and put a metal plate where the bullet exited in the back of his head. Many more to come!

Ben and his mom aren't going to church anytime soon because of the recent sugury. Nothing else has happened much =/

Ben had 54 staples in his head total from surgury, and had half removed Monday and had half removed Friday
