How to skin Steam

Great for talking hardware, hype, and games outside traditional genres.

While perusing my preferences on Steam, I kept coming across one option about Steam "skins." I kept checking the drop-down menu, but the only thing they ever made available was "default." I kept wondering when they would offer some other options.

Turns out there are other options out there - you just have to go look for them yourself. :oops:

Here is an article that discusses how to do it, and even offers some skins that the writers liked. I think I may have to look for a few to add to my own collection. :)

Are there any particular Steam skins that you use? Or any that you're interested in trying now that you know how to change it?

I actually was looking up this stuff just last night. XD

I think I probably end up using the current Steam layout as a skin soon, :P
since in the current beta version they actually changed the default Steam skin/layout. :shock:
(It doesn't look bad at all, I am just not used to it; I'll give it some time though.)

I am thinking about giving Pixelvision a try,
I will probably also try making a few custom skins as well.
Be part of the answer, not part of the problem.
