“Truthfully, I was an atheist,” Tim Lambesis, the lead singer and founder of As I Lay Dying told the Alternative Press in a recent interview. “I actually wasn’t the first guy in As I Lay Dying to stop being a Christian. In fact, I think I was the third. The two who remained kind of stopped talking about it, and then I’m pretty sure they dropped it, too.”

Yeah, he sounds like just an all around terrible person.

That being said, I wasn't getting a whole sense of objectivity from this article.

Looks like the classic case of I'll drop God so I can sin as much as I want and not feel guilty about it

I don't know how "classic" that is, nor if his religion has been a center of any guilt for him. For willing to con fans like that and even more so for putting out a hit on his wife, he's a whole new level of low.
