Just gonna start a thread so I and whoever else (Chozon, this means you) can show off.

First up, tonight's project: a spotted sea trout hitch cover.

1/8" mild steel plate plasma cut to shape and TIG welded to thinner strips of 1/8" that were bent to a slight curve (which doesn't show well in the picture). The completed assembly was TIG'd to a 2" diameter chunk of square tubing, using a couple more 1/8" strips.

I don't really have any metal work. -_- At least none I can currently display. Most of the stuff I've forged is in use.

Not at the moment, no.

Tonight, my instructor challenged my to weld two razor blades edge to edge without burning a hole through it. That was pretty tough, given that a standard razor is approx 0.009" thick.

I couldn't get a picture, but we hooked an acetylene hose to the mouth and had it breathing fire. Just cause.

And I can't post a picture but we had an extra arm so it ended up with a three foot part of the male anatomy...until my instructor saw it.

At various points it's had a human skull in its stomach, a can of beer in its hand, a par of panties in its mouth, and a female dinosaur...attached to it.

Guys turn into twelve year olds around dinosaurs.

12 year olds with acetylene. Nice.

That thing is freaking amazing though. XD That's straight up epic win.
