This article would be sad if it weren't so surprising.

I feel really bad for that man, and his family. I was injured in the Air Force, so I can comprehend in a small part what it is like to live in pain every single day of the rest of your life. I have had a plethora of different video game injuries in my life - mainly sprained wrists. But others since motion controls came into existence. I have suffered injuries in football, baseball, and basketball. I have seen some freak injuries in a variety of activities in my life too. It is a part of life we may not want to dwell on, or deal with. But it is a part of life.

Dang, that's rough.
