A friend of mine asked me about games and the best way to collect them. I'm a big fan and advocate for cloud based installers so starting with StarCraft 1 and 2 through Blizzard's site and starting collecting through Steam I love that I can have my laptop and desktop both installed with Steam and installing games have never been so easy! So that being said I love watching Steam for deals on games and try to pick up the ones on my wishlist with discounts galore!

My story....ccgr wrote:humblebundle.com is a great way to build up your Steam library
I own 77 games on my Steam account.
69 of those are compatible with my Mac.
I've spent $0 through all my Steam transactions.
All the games I have obtained have been through Humble Bundles, or Steam giveaways.
I've been thinking I need to put some money into my Steam wallet, though....

Steam is great! Bless the bundles, the sales, and trading. Humble Bundle and Groupees are my favorite bundle providers.

Now if only there were enough time to play them all....ArchAngel wrote:I probably don't have the biggest library, but it's nothing small at 234 games now.

I can relate completely. There are so many games that I just absolutely adore... but still have never, ever finished. I have more games on my list of "intend to finish" than "already finished." But I imagine I'm not alone in that boat....ArchAngel wrote:Not even remotely.
I accrue books and games faster than I can consume. I guess I'm a collector of sorts.

That sounds like me and ammo. I don't think I have any unread books lying around and few games unbeat, but if someone invites me shooting I never have enough ammo...ignoring the couple thousand rounds I do have.

Having too much ammunition is like having too much money. Even if you don't have enough time to use it all, it's good to have... just in case.Orodrist wrote:That sounds like me and ammo. I horde ammo due to an idiot-facilitated ammo shortage around here.

(you were the one who didn't care for the caliber, right?)

It's that way here. I haven't seen a fresh box of .22LR in ages. I rarely see .45 but they card here which is stupid <_<
Also my next gun is probably a 9mm so I shouldn't say anything <_<
*cough*
But yeah Steam rocks.
