I am a bibleclass teacher and I want to learn more about how to build bible times buildings and structures and things like Solomons Temple and the Tabernacle. Do you have anything like that on your server at Christian GAme Servers?

We had a Temple Mount structure on our third map. You can download it here: http://mc.ccgr.org/?page_id=400" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

To convicting?
You have got to tell me what games you have played.
I haven't played a convicting game in forever it feels like.

Best of luck by the way Savedgames,
From what I have read,
the gameplay sounds really fun. :)

Enough to know that this one will be just like the others, watered down with no flavor. Haven't seen one team who could step up to plate and make a proper Christian game. But I would tell you that if you can do it, I would buy your game. But it has to be as good as the other games that have taken off in kickstarter.

You haven't looked that hard, methinks. Or your standards are unfairly high. Spiritual Warfare, back in the 16-bit days, was just as good as (and still is, honestly) any Zelda clone out there. In some ways, I prefer it to the real thing. :\ Learning curve is bit less steep.

In modern times, there's the little mentioned Axys Adventure, which though had cheesy voice overs was a very nice platformer, and some game I can't remember the title of. 2D Adventure thing. Paltry list, but I'm doing this from memory, and that hasn't worked like it's supposed to since 2006.

Thing is, considering even Christian gamers hate on Christian games (I mean come on amigo; you slammed it without even playing it. And your's is a gentle voice in comparison to the typical response), there's zero incentive for a Christian dev to put "I am a Christian and I maed dis" into their game. :P

I actually got pretty hyped over Heroes of Issachar when I saw it on the Ouya page a few weeks back. Looks awesome. I have no money so that's rather hollow, but still.

Thanks for the responses on this topic. It looks like the kickstarter for Heroes of Issachar isn't going to make its target however we are still very dedicated to making the game and are encouraged by all of the interest it generated for those who checked it out.

I can assure you that this will not be a watered down Christian game. That would defeat the purpose of making the game. It is an overtly Christian game that will share the gospel with the player through a unique and linear storyline that flows naturally with the gameplay and we won't release it if its not both fun to play and glorying to God.

We will be releasing a new and improved alpha demo next month so continue to check out our website (savedgamesinc.com) or follow us on facebook (facebook.com/savedgames) for upcoming details.

Thanks again for all of the support!

But my standards are pretty fair, as I feel the same way about some of the bigger companies as well. I will admit that this new game SOUNDS cool, and if it were that good then I would by all means buy the game. I say the same sort've thing about Bethesda and Obsidian games and I still end up buying into them. So there would be a good chance that I would admit that I were wrong, depending on how much they crap on visually impaired people, since game developers like to do that. Also, if there were as many good Christian games as you claim, then they would have reached well passed their budget by now. The fact is that not that many people feel any different then I do about this genre.

I am as picky with the games that I play as I am the music I listen too. So if something is watered down and drab, then I won't bother with it.
