Like the title says, I'm struggling with my own authenticity. I've been feeling very strongly that I'm not portraying who I actually am. I'm still trying to come to grips with it myself, as I have a few ideas what the problem could be. I'm working with my therapist on it, but not knowing what the "real me" is is hard.
If you guys could pray for guidance and whatnot, I'd appreciate it.

Understood, and my sympathies are with you.
I thank the Lord you have a therapist; I can't afford one.
You are in my prayers.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you.
Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners
now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Your therapist probably can put it better than me...But I know that if you come to know who God says you are, that's who you are. And you won't ever want to be anyone else. Prayers headed your way.
