So I had an interview yesterday with a representative from a company based in Bellingham, Washington. It was officially for an internship, but there is a chance it could be full time (And if I intern, I could get offered a full time job after the internship is over).

I'm not sure how well I did. My gut says I did fine, but I keep thinking of all the things I did poorly. For example, while I aced the on-the-spot coding question (The interviewer called my solution exemplary), I struggled with the algorithmic question he asked (Given a text file of indeterminate size with one sentence per line, find the ten most-used sentences). He had to coach me through the problem until we arrived at a solution. My dad says that's normal for an entry-level position, but I feel like that might have soured the interview. I did get the impression that he really liked me for the first half of the interview though. He said I was very good at explaining my thought processes while I was doing the code question.

I sent him some representative code snippets last night (As he requested), and I think they're good enough to show someone how well I write code. (If anyone cares, here's my GitHub account I linked to him.).

I guess I would like prayer for two things: For me to stop being so overly analytical about every little thing with this job interview, and that God's will be made clear to me. I'd really like to work at this company, the culture seems like a great fit for me (They offer free espresso; what more could you want?)

Right? They also offer free soda, so it'll probably super unhealthy. :P

Well, I was offered the internship on Friday. Still haven't accepted or declined, I'm just thinking and praying about what I should do.

I also got approached by a recruiter from a major corporation about my GitHub profile, and I have phone interview with them on Tuesday. I guess time will tell.

If you could pray for guidance and discernment, I would appreciate it!
