I had a mole on my face removed yesterday, and it was right under my nose, so currently I have a couple stitches, and because any lip-pursing is a no-go for 2 weeks, I have t take such fun precautions as:

Be on a soft foods diet
Not move my mouth much to prevent stitch-popping (this includes smiling, laughing, opening my mouth too wide... kissing... D:)
Clean the area 2-3 times a day, as the skin around the nose/upper lip is prone to grease buildup

AND MANY MORE =D

But seriously, if you've never had a not-small mole removed, just know that how deep the numbing shot has to go in makes you wonder if it was worth numbing in the first place sue to the excruciating pain XD

Anyway, I have a fat upper lip right now cause of the swelling, so if that could go down and all healing go as planned, that'd be greeeaaaat :P

Pop it open rub some salt and sand in it and call it a dueling scar. No one will ever cross you again.

Be part of the answer, not part of the problem.

dangit Arch I probably almost popped a stitch when I started laughing at this XD

Medical plastic surgery near the mouth: the time when laughter is NOT the best medicine :P

ANYWAY. Swelling is way down today. Also I have decided that I am kind of pumped for a little diagonal scar across my lip where hair won't grow back. When I'm 60 and kids ask where I got it (because there will be a line bisecting my handlebar mustache) I will lower my head and mutter "the war" and shuffle off. My wife will shoo the children away, saying "WE DON'T TALK ABOUT IT"

Haha, my bad. I can't even keep my own promise on the very thread I made it on.

That dueling scar thing might just become a reality.
And don't lower your head. Just stare intensely right through them into their souls and decide what you see isn't worthy to know.

Oh, instead of handle bars, might I recommend mutton chops?

It appears around 3:36. It makes you strangely trustworthy.
