Hey all. I feel like it's been a while since we've had a praise report up in here.

The past couple of months have been generally pretty dark times for me, in multiple aspects of life. Both due to outside circumstances that I had no control over, as well as to some pretty self-destructive habits that were only leading me towards the exact opposite of the kind of person I want to be. At certain points in the semester I became selfish, controlling, deceiving, and driven by lust. The main company that I was keeping was a person who was not necessarily interested in making me become a better person, but so often brought out the worst in me because of all of the burdens that she carries.

It was looking bleak. Thank the Lord for friendships, because without a select group of people who cared for me and helped me to realize what was healthier for me, I'm not sure what would have become of me. Because of them I realized that I need to let go of this person that had such a poisonous hold on my life that nothing good could come out of. Because of them I met my now-girlfriend, a Godly woman that has already offered so much love and support and even some of the spiritual guidance that I so desperately need. It's been a tough road, but I feel so blessed right now, and finally excited for the things that the Lord will bring in the future.
