On this Earth, there are over 2.1 billion people who follow the belief system of Christianity. Among those, 200 million of them will have their human rights violated because of their faith, and an estimated 175,000 of them will be martyred by the end of this year.
Odds are, if you're on this forum, you have it good. Real good. It is highly likely that you are in a country where you can practice your religion without persecution or violence against you. You are likely reading this on a tablet, computer, smartphone, or iPod variant. It is highly likely that you have enough to eat. It is highly likely that you are clothed and comfortable.
These people need prayer. Badly. I myself just realized how good I have it and how bad they do. They need our prayers. Badly.
Spoiler:
One organization who helps resolve this problem is Open Doors International. For more information, I would advise Persecution.com, upon whose website I spent some 20 odd minutes looking at a large infographic detailing Christian prosecution internationally.
Among others who could use prayers are the starving (I attend a high school of approximately 2300 people - if on one school day one of us died every time a child died of starvation, within 24 hours, the classes of 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 would be deceased) and the sick (the H2N3 virus has recently reached epidemic status in the US, and the medical care here is among the best on the planet - think of those who live where Dysentry and Malaraia run rampant).
Those..................punks......................................God help those who are afflicted in Your Name. You know how unfair it is to be persecuted for something that you never did. Please help them. Give them peace, God.
“The humble sinner will sometimes be interpreted as one of the filthiest in the eyes of man yet immersed in the eyes of God, and this is due to the volition of honesty regarding his own corruption.”
