I typically hate to burden others with my own worries and issues. When I pray, I usually don't even pray for myself, since I figure so many others out there need it more than me. But I figured it couldn't hurt, so....

Saturday morning, while horsing around, my two-year-old son fell off his sister's bed and ended up fracturing his elbow. We took him to the doctor, and while it's not too serious, there's no way to get him in to the orthopedist until sometime after Christmas. So far, he's doing OK (he's a tough little guy), and definitely tends to avoid using that arm, but I still worry about him....

So, if you could, just keep him in your prayers, that everything will go well and that his arm will heal well, if you could, please? Thank you, and Merry Christmas!

Ouch, I'll be praying.
I actually had fractured my wrist a few years ago.
(It may not be an elbow, but still...)
Be part of the answer, not part of the problem.

When I was a kid I was wearing sunglasses. I was trying to race my mother's car, then I tripped and fell. The sunglasses pierced my forehead and created a blood-gushing hole so deep I had to get stitches. I couldn't even go to school. So I know where you're son is coming from.

Father God, I pray that you heal his son's fractured elbow. Let there be a blessing and miracle to take place in their lives. I ask this in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ.

Amen.

Take care, bro. Say hi to your son for me.
