Not entirely sure what to categorize this as, but I found out about this today.
It seems pretty interesting, though not so much a game as an experience.
For those who can't/won't watch the video, the premise is this:
The speed of light is so fast, that we don't experience the effects of relativity at speeds approaching the speed of light. This game seeks to change that by having the player do something intrinsically simple: Collect 100 objects without any enemies or major obstacles. However, for each object you collect, the game makes the speed of light slower. By the end of the game, navigation is quite tricky.
It's also going to be open source, so I'm super pumped about getting to see the kind of simulation code they wrote for this.

It seems like an interesting idea, but I'll hold off on expressing any excitement until I see how it really affects gameplay.

That's a great concept. Take something familiar and easy and then throwing a relativistic monkey wrench into the works... it looks like an amazing experience. I really want to play that game now.
