1) They don't fit in any existing thread and
2) They are too minor to be worth starting a new thread for

I thought I would start off the shenanigans with a question that's been burning me for ages:
Why does the site ask you if you were born before or after a certain date? It doesn't appear to make any discernible difference.

My wife was looking up fudge recipes just now. I asked if she found a recipe for bacon fudge. Because you know that would rock.
