Even without the memory the bundled game, 10% discount on e-shop and charging base makes it worth while.

Buy a 32 GB Sd Card from Wal Mart for $20.
Get the Basic Set.
Easy. And it saves you money to get more. Not to mention the data transfer app for Wii/ Wii U. There is a lot more room to save AND you get and extra 8 GB, making a total of 40 GB.
Maybe it's not the best idea, but it's a good one.

managed to get a Wii U basic but will sell it to a friend since they are hard to get, still holding out for a deluxe

I haven't opened the box. So I couldn't say. If my friends don't want it I'll return it. But if they do take it my son's Christian preschool gets 1% of the sale.
