The actual name of the games you have and the systems you own? We kinda need detail.

If you like turn-based RPGs, you may want to check out Spiderweb Software's collection of games. The Avernum series is where they began (actually, Exile, but Avernum is the sequel / remakes), and the newest version of the first Avernum game is pretty good.
In addition, the folks at the Humble Bundle just added a few games to their latest offering, including Spiderweb Software's Avadon: The Black Fortress. So it might be a cheap way to get familiar with the products they have to offer. And if you don't like it, you'll still be able to get a whole bunch of other games at the same price - pretty much whatever you chose to pay when you got the bundle!
This is for Windows and Mac machines, but the Humble Bundle I liked above (and the games in it) also work for Android devices and Linux. Options are good.
If you're more for an action RPG, check out Torchlight and Torchlight 2, unless you've got those already.

You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...

It's a bit heavy on grinding, but I found Rogue Galaxy for the PS2 to be decent enough, and I've been told the Dot.hack series is pretty interesting.

I think I can help recommend some games.
For the DS there is the,
-The Professor Layton series. (These are by far my most favorite DS and Puzzle games.
)
I also would recommend playing them in order of release.
The Curious Village, The Diabolical Box, then the Unwound Future.
Though there is also a prequel trilogy, starting with the Specter, and then Miracle Mask, and then the last game which is not out yet.
The first three games shouldn't cost much now,
so that might be the place place to start,
if you wanted to give this series a try.
Just make sure to save Unwound Future till after you beat the Curious Village, and Diabolical Box. (Well, at least one of those. XD)

Buy Ocarina of Time! (That is, if you can find it and haven't already played some form of it.)
