First of all, everything is fine. Go forth and read this without le nervousness about me getting injured again or something :P I've actually been in rather good health lately XD

So, yeah. I'm at a stage of my life where there are weighty matters to be pondered over a steaming cup of coffee, and one of those matters is increasingly on my mind lately.

WHAT IS THAT YOU ASK, WELL LET ME TELL YOU SIR OR MADAM.

I need to be praying and thinking and advice/wisdom-seeking about the next year or two in my life and the transitions that are taking place. For one thing, I'm in my junior year of college (holy crap, man. I joined this site when I was in junior high :P ) and I'll be graduating in the near-ish future and heading off to grad school.

The whole point of this thread is that, well...

Most of the money I make next summer will be saving up for a ring. THERE I SAID IT

Now, there's probably a long-ish time before this stuff takes place. I'll be saving for it next summer, but that's because that's the only time my money actually starts to accumulate because I actually have the time to work a respectable number of hours :P By the time I were to pop the question and, even further after that, commence the glorious ceremonies and all of that... Yeah. It's a ways away, I acknowledge that, but early planning is always good. XD

TL;DR: Soup likes it and wants to put a ring on it so pray for wisdom and discernment for timing and for such thingmajiggies.

if any of you have anything in depth 4srs to say or questions regarding all of this, feel free to PM me lulz

Tuxes are a must, but you can opt for a vest and tie in lieu of a cummerbund and bowtie.
I've seen people try to pull off suits, but it's never quite the same thing. Tuxes are for parties, events, and ceremonies, and suits are for business.

Dude. Tuxes are awesome. I've worn one on several occasions AND YOU JUST FEEL THE CONFIDENCE SURGE UP IN YOUR CUMMERBUND

Personally, I find any formal attire to make me far less confident than I was before. You could say the suit wears me. :P Either that, or I'm so fat a suit makes me look even worse than I do without one. XD

Praying for guidance.

You must learn to wear the tux, lest the tux wear you.

Here is your back-up to your tuxedo statement. I love this song. 8)
