So my hubby has been happily employed at Sears Holdings for over a year. The pay is great and the experience is awesome. Yet to keep his options open I suggested he register a domain and post his resume. He thought it was a good idea but never did anything about it. I took it upon myself to register the domain, throw up a basic word press site with his resume on it. Guess who contacted him today very interested in him......Google I'm totally grinning ear to ear with that I told you look face. As we get more details I'll post them here...prayers for guidance please!

Wow Grats!!!!!! Praying for sure!
Jeremiah 20:9-But if I say, "I will not mention him or speak any more in his name," his word is in my heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones. I am weary of holding it in; indeed, I cannot.

The good news is that he has a phone interview on Wednesday the bad news is that there are no Illinois based openings.
Currently they are hiring in Seattle, Kirkland (WA), Mountain View (CA), San Francisco, Los Angeles, Boston, New York, Pittsburgh, London, Dublin, Zurich, and Sydney.
We'll see how the phone interview goes but not keen on moving. Sydney does sound good though

So the first interview went really well. They'll be scheduling another one soon within the next couple of weeks. The salary will still be a mystery but they compensate depending on the location, Jay is leaning towards Mountain View. Houses are crazy expensive though!

The problem is that we would be selling low too. The house we bought for 220K is now close to 150 and 124 still owed on it so 25K down on a 300K+ house isn't very good :\

Depending on your situation, you might want to consider rent-to-buy for a house.
Yeah, housing is really expensive here.
But keep in mind that the link you posted is based on the "average" salary, and Jay will be making well over that.
I don't know how much you're expecting, the position he's going for, or how much you make now (no need to tell me, of course
), but I'd be surprised if it's below 6 figures. Jay sounds pretty well versed and well experienced in what he does, so I'd expect a good amount over that.
Maybe I should talk less about it, and let Google give the numbers
