I couldn't help but notice...

Great for talking hardware, hype, and games outside traditional genres.

This site is getting a review for the old Lego game Island Xtreme Stunts.

I chuckled. I remember that old thing. It's been, like, a decade. Ohhhh, nostalgia.

Old enough. I'm going to leave that as a variable. ArchAngel has deduced that out though.

I stated middle school, and you said 15.

There was no deduction. -.-

Yep. Just old enough to enjoy these games on the tail end, but just young enough to not be a part of whatever community there was. If there ever was.

Everyday life for me in my family tree.

You're thinking of LEGO Racers. Absolutely loved this game. My favorite LEGO game to date.

Yeah.

But now Lego games have tried everything from closed course Indiana Jones narratives to open-world Batman narratives, some which worked better than others.

I'm still partial to either Lego Island 2 or Lego Racers 2. I was just discovering gaming when they came out, and when you're a little kid who is interested in both computers and legos to a slightly unhealthy extent, sparks fly and nostalgia blooms.
