Hey Everybody,
I've been on the forums for a short while. The gaming community here is epic. One thing I did notice is that there is a ton of momentum for video games but nothing really for the Pen and Paper (like dungeons & dragons) community.
Just for curiosities sake, would you guys be interested in a section of CCG dedicated to Pen and Paper (which could potentially include a section where we can play "Play by Post" games together) and board/card gaming (like munchkin...love me some munchkin). I haven't really talked about this with anyone outside of a small section of the hobbies thread

There seems to be a few individuals (myself included) who enjoy this style of gaming as much as I do. If there needs to be some sort of moderation or leading of this, I have no trouble offering my services. I would also like to GM PBP games as well if this is something that happens.
Well, let me know what you wonderful folks think.

Paper and Pencil gaming section, I believe, would be a valuable addition.
This site has already expanded beyond just computer games to gaming itself, and adding in the grand daddy of our favorite genre, RPGs, only seems appropriate.
It'd be a positive experience to expose many of our gamers to a new form of gaming. I, for one, am interested in it.

Yes. This must happen.

I rarely play PnP games myself, but I'm all for the idea. I'd love to learn a few, but I don't know anyone in my area who plays 'em.

@bruce-I'm all for teaching. I used to run a meetup where once a month we would have a meeting at my church where people would come to play pen and paper games. One of my requirements for being a GM was that they have to be willing to teach. I hold that perspective too. It's no fun if you're like "You can play only if you're super experienced." It takes away a lot of fun.
Now if you have a regular group that you game with, that's a different story. But yea, I'd be glad to show you the ropes if this this ends up being something awesome.

I'd participate! I even have the DnD 4e core books and a few other systems (World of Darkness, Call of Cthulhu, and Alternity).
I suppose we should decide what games we would play. XD
