So earlier I was gluing stuff.

For threads that strayed off topic or never made sense in the first place.

For Mothers day. The card is semi complicated, and I thank God for the idea, but basically it involved 'wallpapering' small sections of foamboard with fancy paper. Not a problem, and actually rather fun. So I'm using a piece of foam board to spread the glue out in a smooth even layer, and upon completion, set it down next to me and reached for my paper. I carefully align the edges (Well...as carefully as I can get. I don't think I've cut a straight edge since first grade when my mom was 'helping' me) and smooth it out, using my wallpapering skills I learned in the 60's. Looks nice, so I move on to another piece of foamboard, squeezing glue onto it, and reaching for my glue spreader.

Then I notice a rather icky, cold feeling on my leg. That piece of foamboard I'd been using earlier? Turns out I set it down when my legs were straight. When I curled them under me, I basically sat on it. -_-

So I wipe the excess Elmer's off my jammies (it's 4:00 AM, you know) and continue about my srs bidness. After finishing the floor and three walls, I gather my supplies and stand up to put them back in their haphazard ('out of my way' tends to equal 'clean' to me) places when I notice another sickly cold feeling on my leg.

Turns out the glue had actually soaked through my pants, and glued them to my leg. Which bothers me on so many textural levels. So I reach down and pull my pant leg away from my actual leg, and find out that the glue had also glued my leg hair to my pants leg.

I'd be more upset if it was, say, Gorilla Glue, but it's still a terribly gross feeling. XD
