Well...here goes. It's late, I'll keep this simple, but I need to use terms I understand in places, because I can hardly think.
Met a girl. With me, it's a headspace gauge with extremely tight tolerances. It's go or no go.

Like, we spent the last few days discussing a long term future. Yep. Me, discussing marriage. You can laugh, I know it's absurd. Especially when you consider this is an online thing, and she's over 2000 miles away.
Long story short, bad things happened to her tonight. Nothing physically damaging, or I'd be driving to the airport right now, but bad. As in, she was suicidal.
I say was, because we were talking, and she was doing better... and then she stopped responding. I'm literally sitting with a bottle of scotch and my .45 with one round. Just...pray. Please.

Well...she had just fallen asleep. Called at about 0400 crying, ended up keeping her going until I had to leave for work.
Seems to being much better this evening, thanks guys. Still not sure how I managed to talk her out of it.
I'm exhausted, hungover, and had what would have been a hard day at work under normal conditions, but I'll manage.
