And I just took a test to determine which careers I could be interested in. After the quiz, they said that I was a very studious person, whose hobbies included things like puzzles, keeping statistics on sports teams, a lot of time on the computer, and analyzing stuff. They also said I was an administrative worker, who could be counted on to always get the job done in a quick and efficient manner and do it right the first time, following procedure.

Since I don't know you that well, how accurate is it?

Besides hanging out here and playing with your puppy, what are your hobbies. It's important to have a job that you'll enjoy since you'll be spending 9 hours of your day there.

Sorry. Should've clarified; it's nothing like me.Nate DaZombie wrote:Since I don't know you that well, how accurate is it?

Usually it's 'measure 3 times, cut once, mutter deprecations, cut twice more, then glue the blamed thing'. XD
Hmm...Actually, hanging out with my puppy lends good ideas. I wonder if I could get a gopherboy job at the local zoo...have to look into that.ccgr wrote:Besides hanging out here and playing with your puppy, what are your hobbies. Either way, I play music, builds things (usually artistic stuff) and play games. Somedatimes messing with comprooters. Not that...not that you asked for a list.

Not sure how great the job market is over in the States but I think I know some careers you might be able to enjoy because your interests are very similar to mine.
Animal Care
Animal Grooming (great job if you like working independently)
Construction Project Manager
Information Technology
Graphic Design
Software development
All of those are great jobs! I'd avoid Graphic Design if you don't like Macs, though.
To be honest, I'm in the same position as you are except I am currently studying to get my GED. Yeah, I'm pretty behind for a 21 year old but I trust God that He will provide for me enough to survive in the world. Reading Luke 12:22-34 helps me a lot when I feel like I'm about to panic.

Do be quite honest...your personality seems to fit with the IT professional kind of job. You're witty, relaxed, and you're nerdy enough to fit in at almost any IT place. Granted, your skills are not at the professional level yet, but that's part of the point of college.
Hey, you should go to my school! We have an IT degree. (Though it's probably way out of your price range... and driving range)

Dear sweet bleepy lumps. O_o Those things were all on a career info test I took earlier. O_O And even freakier, we do seem to be in similar boats. XD Same age and everything. I am encouraged in that...I no longer feel alone.Krytae wrote:Not sure how great the job market is over in the States but I think I know some careers you might be able to enjoy because your interests are very similar to mine.

That'd be mildly insulting if it wasn't totally true. XDDeepfreeze32 wrote:(Though it's probably way out of your price range... and driving range)
