Procrastination

I'm supposed to be revising the final draft of a short story of mine that's due tomorrow. I know I can be a good writer, and I actually feel like writing right now, but I'm not sure I'm equipped to handle the frustration of not being able to get the words on the page right now. I thought that maybe if I wrote something that was easy, the harder words might flow more.

P.S. Right now I'm drinking hot chocolate that has the consistency and sweetness of maple syrup.

Somewhat. But it's mostly the atmosphere and the variety of peoples and ideas floating about in the air.

Oh, me. Entering this thread again.

First draft of a short story to write this time. Same class. At least eight pages, supposedly by five, but mine is probably going to be late. I already asked the professor for an extension but she's insanely bad at responding to her e-mail.

Currently on the fifth page. Urrrrgh.
