For the record, I didn't watch the Far Cry 3 trailer, and I consider it awkward as well.
Guess I'm one of those people who have "weird problems with sex and violence and swearing in an M-rated shooter". Shaem on mi.
I was crafting and missed the 3DS conference. You guys must update me. O_O

Well, sadly they pretty much showed stuff I already knew about. (And I have not even watched any E3 Videos before it.)
Though it was fun to watch, got some more info on Paper Mario, and the new New Super Mario Bros 2. (Wow, it weird saying new twice like that.)
Though no news on Animal Crossing, Professor Layton, nor Fire Emblem.
... wait, I just found this!

Made my day.
Still wonder why they did not show it off at E3. (though I don't care at the moment. ^-^)

See? That's my problem with the big N this year, and probably every other year: they don't show off half the good titles and leave me disappointed with them.
I totally would have screamed a little over a new Fire Emblem.

What's awkward? The fact that you're over 18 and can't handle a breast on-screen, or the fact that the game dares to push some non-existent boundary?Chozon1 wrote:For the record, I didn't watch the Far Cry 3 trailer, and I consider it awkward as well.

Your choice. I don't even know that I'd play it.JOJ650s wrote:Yeah, I am still going to avoid that game like a firing squad of Portal turrents without possession of a portal gun.
Oh, and just my thought about this...
The entire point is that it wasn't done for an entire minute. At all. Ever. No one showed that sequence for an entire minute. Like I said, in all the media shown, even the live demo at the conference, it was shown for like fifteen seconds max. That's it.Krytae wrote:To you, maybe, but I was more surprised that they would do it for a whole minute at an E3 conference.
That there was a naked breast shown on-screen at a conference? It was very awkward, and to my knowledge, hasn't been done before.
Pretty sure that's been done in a ton of different movies.
Know what's awkward? Watching the steam house fight scene in Eastern Promises with your recently-uncloseted father. That's awkward. One breast that's barely presented sexually in front of a room full of men and women? Not awkward.
Don't have to admit that, either. I probably swear more than that going to work. :/Also, the swearing was extremely over the top, you have to admit. The violence wasn't too horrible, but It's not exactly great either.
So swearing, nekkid, tigers and televisions going insane are "sin".Really, the whole game looks like it's going to be full of a lot of sin, and that's a good enough sign for me to turn the other way and avoid the game completely, and I don't feel like I'll be missing much.
Got it.
Sure?Overall I agree with you, I just didn't word it properly. The rest is just my opinion. No need to argue that, right?
That's all I was saying.Nate DaZombie wrote:Sure, we all believe you.Drewsov wrote: Based on this post, I watched every piece of media that I could find on Far Cry 3. Not because I'm into digitized sex, NO! It's because I can't resist proving random people I find online wrong. >_>![]()
That said, I agree that this game definitely isn't for kids, and neither was the previous game. I still think it's going to be awesome.

I knew a little about The Last of Us, but I just saw the three Watch Dog gameplay trailers, and I gotta say; I'm more excited for this than GTA 5.CountKrazy wrote:I don't know about you guys but I'm still not done pooping my pants over The Last of Us and Watch Dogs.

Chozon's Log Fartdate 189un94988:
June 8th, SET. The usual hate on Nintendo has already started, mostly without cause. Reggie's a clown, but I'd place my lunch money he says and does crazy things to attract American audiences.
Basically, it's 2006 all over again, and I ponder whether the end result of Nintendo succeeding despite the hatred will be the same. Not wanting to feed the hordes, I nod, smile, and keep silent until the first wave blows over.
End log.

I've been majorly impressed by Watch Dogs. FOr srsly. I've tried to not even pay attention to the last of us just because I don't have a PS3. >_> I was also pretty impressed by Far Cry 3 and I'm also happy with the direction Black Ops 2 is going in.
