Well, as official as I get, anyway. :P

Starting this now because the confo's start in around 8 hours my time, and already Ninty has done some cool stuff. They've added a new controller for the Wii U that looks as though a Gamecube controller was blended with an X-Box controller was blended with a SNES controller, only the second thumbstick is placed where buttons normally are, and the buttons where the second thumbstick usually is.

Part of me is confused as to how that will not break your thumbs (outside of an FPS, that is); the other part of me is glad the introduced a 'standard' controller for Wii U usage that's different from a Wiimote. There's also a few online components that are cool, and may satiate the people whining about lack of internet capability. No word on whether they'll be charging for it.

Here's looking forward to M$ conference. <3 I'm partly confused as to why Nintendo did a pre-pre conference thing though.

Honestly.. I'm intrigued by the Wii-U but our Wii doesn't get much use. I don't see myself camping out for one or paying scalping prices on ebay.

After seeing the pre-conference for the Wii U, I'm about 50% sure I'll get it at launch. First, they need to announce some great first and third party launch titles to get me interested. Otherwise I'll just wait a few months after launch, see if it's still worth buying, and get one.

The Microsoft conference is in 1 hour and 40 minutes at the moment I'm typing this. I don't expect anything more than Kinect and Halo when it comes to exclusive content. Will Microsoft surprise me? probably not. After the stuff they pulled the last 2 years, we'll probably just see some Black Ops 2 footage with the lights dim, some Halo 4 footage, and possibly another Forza game. Don't expect anything good from Rare, if anything at all.

Then again, maybe me being hard on Microsoft is a good thing. Maybe they'll blow me away? You never know. :)

For the microsoft press conference, I'm just excited for Harmonix to announce their thing. (Drew: <3) I'm excited to see some Halo 4 gameplay, and I really want something about the next xbox.

Oh yeah, hopefully Harmonix has something good for the conference. And hopefully the rumours about the new Xbox aren't true, otherwise people will be pretty mad. Except maybe fanboys, though.

Well, that was a below average conference at best. Really wish they didn't spend 40 minutes talking about something besides video games. Also, there doesn't seem to be any games coming out in 2012 for the Xbox, so that's a bummer. No new console, the Usher performance was awkward, and the Angry Birds clone was really hard to watch. I didn't expect much anyways.

Onto the EA conference! I hope for some new IPs.

EDIT - also, you know there's a problem when a Call of Duty game was the exit for the show. Usually it would be the start.

Halo looks okay. The Splinter Cell game looks ridiculous, like, the game plays for you? seriously? why are they ruining this franchise? :(

Yeah, I was kind of pleh on the whole conference. The good was good, the rest was meh. Why would a game conference only have four games and 7.5 hours of "LOOK YOU CAN CONNECT STUFF"?

Agreed. So far, there hasn't been much that has impressed me.

EA conference just finished, and it was pretty good. I'm really excited about the new Sim City, and UFC partnering with EA Sports was something I did not see coming. I like how they actually showed off a lot of game footage, and spent less time talking about new features for Origin or something.

Ubisoft is in 50 minutes. Hoping for some great platformer goodness!

Pleh. I was finishing up my blarticle about the M$ conference and missed those two. Likely, I'll miss the Sony confo too, since it's my Dad's birthday and I can't think of a way to say "Dad, I'd rather watch the internet for 3 hours then hang with you". :P

That said, Assassins Creed III looks amazing. O_o Even from the pre-E3 stuff.

The Ubisoft conference started horribly, but ended with a great reception. Possibly the best conference so far because of the games that were showcased.

I hated the Far Cry 3 trailer for many obvious reasons. Whatever interest I had for this game completely depleted the moment the trailer started. Passing on this one.

Assassins Creed III looks amazing. Rayman Legends looks awesome and fun, and will probably be best played on the Wii U. Zombi U sounds okay. Watch Dogs was by far the best game showcased on E3 so far. Completely amazing game. I cannot wait to get my hands on this!

I also enjoyed the new F2P Quake clone from Ubisoft. Nice to see some PC gaming at E3. :)

Next is Sony. I've been waiting for this one! As long as there isn't a lot of Move, and a lot of games are shown, it will probably be the best conference of the day.

What was up with the Far Cry III trailer? I haven't seen it.

Actually, I've missed all the conferences except M$. Bizzy. I'm hoping to catch Ninty's tomorrow. It's not looking like I'ma see Sony's either.

Krytae. Phe. You guys should write blog posts on the confo's so CCGR can get into some 'official' E3 action this year. :D I've got one in the panel now for M$'s that I'ma wait a bit more on before I post.

The plus side about Ninty's conference, as some random internet guy pointed out, is that there's a good chance it'll be good since all the 'boring' stuff (that M$ droned on about today) was gone through yesterday. I actually have high hopes for it.

'Course, I did for Xbox today too. Plus, there has been no 'freebies' this year. I want some odd DLC jangle or something.
