Today I learned that I've accidentally been saving the HIGHEST compression versions of my art when exporting instead of the LOWEST (aka least loss) which is what I thought I'd been doing.
Apparently the new program I use has the export setting flip flopped from the old one I used! Oops. Lesson learned.
